It’s Monday, you’re bored at home, and time is passing you by. You say “well maybe I’ll have fun on Thursday, or Friday, or  Saturday.” With the launch of The UDGRD’s “LIVE From the Underground” series last Monday March 24th, you might just want to reconsider what you do with your Monday nights.

Presented in The Dunes, an art gallery in Columbia Heights DC, Live From the Underground served as a welcoming ground for lovers of music and art alike. Oh, and alcohol of course.

The event included showcases from artists including New Retro (funk band), Elle Maxwell, $urreal, Dutch Rebelle, Yusha Assad, DJ O’s Cool. Also, one of our favorites, BOSHOK Clothing was in attendance selling their gear as well as some exclusive items.

The event promoted positive vibes and The UDGRD showcased nothing but pure artistic integrity. The UDGRD has stated that they “will only collaborate with artists, vendors and entities to create experiences with integrity and honesty at their core.” And here at Culture Starved, we cannot help but to agree with their cause. Take a look at our photo recap and be on the lookout for the next event in the “LIVE From the Underground” series.
