I arrived at “Drama Soul” by just fusing together all the things I am, I love and am influenced by…Ultimately, I let the music be my guide and I respond to the moment.
You’ve heard of trendsetters, but how about genresetters?
TemiDollFace is a young Nigerian artist who has been able to create an intoxicating blend through her musical muses. Her out-of-the-box approach is partly the result of her influencers–Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Fela Kuti, Earth Wind & Fire, Joan Armatrading, Pharell Williams, N.E.R.D, Outkast, and Missy Elliot.
She has tested and broken the boundaries in the industry with her creation of the genre “Drama Soul.”
She elegantly brings her songs to life–a playful and witty energy that we can’t help but admire. Her recent single “Pata Pata” is a perfect example of how she pushes boundaries and creates an amazing experience for her audience.
Her unique sound is intriguing and is creating a growing buzz. We think following her career will be as interesting as listening to her music. And if anyone asks, we were listening before she got huge!
TemiDollFace. Remember the name.
