A Few Fashionable Reasons You Should Be Happy it’s September…

Fashion’s Night Out

September 8 marks the third annual Fashion’s Night Out (FNO). From NY to London to Milan, fashion retail giants, designers, models, and magazine editors are celebrating one of the hottest nights of fall fashion week. It is a night strictly dedicated to shopping and celebrating fashion.

In 2009, after the economy took a sharp downturn, Vogue editor, Anna Wintour created FNO with a tagline,

“Shop for good”

Since then, fashion enthusiasts worldwide have been dedicated to improving the economy or maybe, they just like the free goodies and DJ at H&M.

Whatever your reason for attending is, come out on September 8th! Meet models, designers, editors and celebrities.

And did I mention the crazy sales! If anyone asks, tell them you are shopping to improves the economy.

See http://fashionsnightout.com/ for all participating stores and cities.

It’s Jacket Weather

August marks the official end of summer. You can now wear cutoff shorts without shaving, just layer with tights and some killer shoes.

Remember when it was too hot to be fashionable, F**k that!

Wear your layers proudly. Hug your scarves, ass enhancing skinnies, cosby sweaters and double breasted coats.

Enjoy it, before it turns to the Ice Age in January.

And because we are still on a high from our menswear shoot and we love Humprey Bogart in a Trench coat,

This is our new fall must have item. In classic camel and plaid.

Summer Clearance

If you just thought, “it’s fall, why the hell do I need summer clothes” Let us correct you.

Summer items are key for layering and transitioning into fall. At the moment, they are also dirt cheap because stores are getting rid of them to make room for fall.

If you are still not convinced, see this:

We like the graphic sock/strip shoe meets neutral pieces and a shocking-bright-skirt charm of this.
All from the sale sections of TopShop and H&M

The September issue of most magazines hit the stands. Just in case you don’t live on fashion earth and you haven’t seen Anna Wintour’s “Vogue: The September Issue,” we would like to emphasize that the September issue of every fashion magazine is MAJOR.
